The 2020 FARB Regulatory Law Seminar (RLS) will bring together leading experts and attorneys from across the country to discuss the latest trends in the licensing of professionals. This first-class educational program delivers the tools and information needed to ensure the efficient and effective operation of state regulatory boards. Designed for assistant attorney generals and board attorneys, the RLS will cover topics related to administrative law and representing regulatory boards. The RLS is always interactive and will provide an unparalleled opportunity to network with members of the regulatory community across jurisdictions and professions. The conference curriculum presents current Regulatory News, relevant Top Cases, and blends various videos and media into an engaging interactive learning experience.

The 2020 FARB Regulatory Law Seminar will span over three days for a virtual conference.

CONFERENCE CONTENT
The 2020 FARB Regulatory Law Seminar (RLS) will bring together leading experts and attorneys from across the country to discuss the latest trends in the licensing of professionals. This first-class educational program delivers the tools and information necessary to ensure efficient and effective operation of state regulatory boards. The 2020 FARB Virtual RLS will include a breadth of current topics of interest to assistant attorneys general, regulatory board counsel, volunteer board members, and staff of regulatory boards and agencies. With a mixture of lecture, panel discussions, and interactive learning methods, the sessions will be delivered live by engaging presenters with the intention to advance attendees’ skills and share knowledge and best practices from other states and professions.

MEETING MATERIALS

Prior to the conference, all participants will receive and email with instructions on how to access the meeting materials online to download or print in advance. In addition, participants will receive login information to join the sessions on the scheduled dates/times.

The 2020 FARB Regulatory Law Seminar offers ten (10) hours of continuing legal education credit during three days, culminating with one (1) hour of Professional Responsibility (Ethics)

FEES

Registration fee for the 2020 Virtual RLS is $375 for members and $475 for non-members. Payment by credit card can be done securely online or by phone. If paying by check, please forward as soon as possible for receipt prior to October 1, 2020.

CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION

FARB will seek credit approval from the Illinois Minimum Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) Board for this conference. Participants may earn up to ten (10) CLE credit hours for the RLS conference. In addition, one of these hours may qualify for Professional Responsibility (Diversity & Inclusion) CLE credit. Other professions may be able to use FARB courses as continuing education. Participants must complete the required MCLE reporting information, including attendance attestation and evaluations, and request CLE certificates in a timely manner. Participants must submit required information to their appropriate jurisdictions as necessary.

This interactive session titled “Diversity & Inclusion in the Professions” is designed for Professional Responsibility (Diversity & Inclusion) CLE credit and will focus on an analysis of factors.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Notification of cancellation MUST be made in writing and sent to FARB via U.S. mail or e-mail (FARB@FARB.org).

PAYMENTS
To process payment for registrations, you may call us at your earliest convenience at (847) 559-3272 or by mailing in a check to 1466 Techny Road, Northbrook, IL 60062. 

REFUNDS

If a cancellation is received in writing on or before Wednesday, September 16, 2020, FARB will refund the paid registration fee less a $50 processing charge. Any paid registrants cancelling after Wednesday, September 16, 2020, will not be refunded but will have access to all meeting materials. Any registrations NOT paid in full by Wednesday, September 23, 2020 may be subject to cancellation.

COMPLIMENTARY TRC SUBSCRIPTION

With registration to the 2020 FARB Regulatory Law Seminar you will receive a complimentary subscription to our Top Regulatory Cases from now until October 10, 2020. Click here to be directed to the TRC Homepage.
